MAFALDA
NETFLIX ANIMATED SERIES

Mafalda is one of the most iconic characters in Latin American culture. Created by Argentine cartoonist Quino, the comic strip was born in 1964 and published until 1973, quickly becoming a global phenomenon translated into more than 30 languages.

Mafalda is a middle-class Argentine girl with a sharp, deeply humanist and politically engaged worldview, whose reflections on peace, justice, family and the state of the world remain as relevant today as they were six decades ago. Her figure transcends the comic strip to become a symbol of a generation and a voice for those who question the established order with humor and intelligence.

Now, Mafalda comes back to life in a new animated series produced for Netflix, directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Juan José Campanella, bringing her message to new generations around the world in a production that honors Quino's legacy with the quality and reach the character truly deserves.

Salvador is part of this project as Audio Supervisor, leading the Sound Design and Ambiences, Dialogue Editing and Audio Post-Production of the series.
